Hi there,
I would like to know what else we must do for indexing.Nearly for 1 year we are online and many times we submitted according to the rules but the result is the same as always. Must we walk on our hands or walk on the fire? My belief for "human makes better" is getting weak day by day.

Yeah sure you are very busy and Im appreciated that somebody is interested with us.Maybe not need to mention this but our submission on 16th November was our last submission.Before that we tried more times but not succeed.

Wenn du einen URL in einer Kategorie vorschlägst, wo er bereits auf Prüfung wartet, überschreibt die neue Anmeldung gewöhnlich die alte.

If you resubmit to a category where another submission of the same URL is already waiting for review, the new submission usually overwrites the older one.

Im sorry but I must also report that some of editors are not taking their job very serious.Ofcourse this job is not payed ,volunteryly but the submission point is really important for webmasters.I havent met this approach on other directroies.Sorry

Which directories are there that guarantee a fast free listing? And remember it's not the webmaster that the work for, it's the users.

Well, that depends. If you've choosen the correct category, written an appropriate title and description and submitted to a category which is no spam magnet it might work out and you're listed really fast.
But:
Most of those who make statements like you did are not really interested in the effort to build a source of information for surfers who are searching for links concerning a certain topic. Your goal is to get listed to drive traffic to your site because of commercial interests.

That's not our goal, it's yours. Editors build the directory, not submitters. We try to build a comprehensive directory of valuable information and the submitted sites (like yours) are nothing more than a hint for the category editors.
They take a look at the site and include it if it contains valuable and unique information.
They move it if it doesn't belong to their category.
They even delete it if there is no valuable content for any category.
There is no timeframe for this to be done.

If you're unhappy with those procedures which are described in deep in our guidelines you should consider to ask commercial services for a listing.

I dont want to be indexed by DMOZ anymore.Your unfair behaviours make me angry.Im protesting DMOZ.Please be aware from my site and cancel our submission.My aim was to show your criterias are not equal and fair.And everybody saw it.Thank you

http://www.gestaendnis.at/ and http://www.gestaendnis.com/ seem to be two different sites. http://www.gestaendnis.at/ was added to the directory on March 25th, 2003. http://www.gestaendnis.com/ was submitted on November 16th, 2003. I can see nothing strange or unfair about this. You also didn't even give a hint why our criteria "are not equal and fair".

It's up to the category editor to decide whether to add your site or not. This has not been decided yet. So your submission has not been cancelled and it won't be cancelled before the review of your site.


http://www.gestaendnis.at/ und http://www.gestaendnis.com/ scheinen zwei verschiedene Sites zu sein. http://www.gestaendnis.at/ wurde am 25. März 2003 in das Verzeichnis aufgenommen. http://www.gestaendnis.com/ wurde am 16. November 2003 vorgeschlagen. Ich kann darin nichts Seltsames oder Ungerechtes erkennen. Sie haben nicht einmal angedeutet, inwiefern unsere Kriterien "nicht gleich und gerecht" sein sollen.

Es ist Aufgabe des Kategorieeditors, über die Aufnahme Ihrer Seite zu entscheiden. Diese Entscheidung ist noch nicht gefallen. Daher ist Ihre Anmeldung nicht gelöscht worden. Sie wird auch nicht gelöscht werden, ohne dass die Aufnahme Ihrer Site in unser Verzeichnis geprüft wurde.

Yeah, this is what Im talking about. You are always telling about your guidelines to the submitters and all webmasters are trying their best while submitting.Unfortunately, your decision makers(Editors) have not fair criterias while deciding.As I told 16 November is our last submission date but we tried for 1 year long to the same category with the same keywords with the same description.
If that Editor who accepted http://www.gestaendnis.at and rejected my site http://www.gestaendnis.com can tell me his criterias, I will pay him 10.000€.
Human makes better.Right? Yeah but it depends on that human.Not every human. Im spending time for explaining this but as I see you still dont want to understand.

Ich würde empfehlen, die Beiträge noch einmal in Ruhe gründlich durchzulesen. Niemand hat geschrieben, daß Deine Site abgelehnt wurde.

Die Site http://www.gestaendnis.com wurde in der Kategorie http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/On_the_Web/Weblogs/Personal/G angemeldet, wo sie nicht hingehört. Dort werden nur Sites in englischer Sprache aufgenommen. Deshalb wurde sie von einem freundlichen Editor nach http://dmoz.org/World/Deutsch/Computer/Internet/Chats_und_Foren verschoben, wo sie zusammen mit mehr als 250 anderen Sites auf Bearbeitung wartet.

Zusätzlich wurde sie in http://dmoz.org/World/Deutsch/Freizeit/Humor/Bizarr angemeldet, wo sie mit einigen wenigen Sites auf Bearbeitung wartet.

Im Übrigen möchte ich auf die Forenrichtlinien hinweisen, besonders auf den Absatz
