It's a very popular site, and it has been a long time since submission. If there is no editor working that category, can somebody else look at it? Can anyone help?

I recognize that this is a voluntary organization. However, somebody there should care that is takes well over a year for a high quality and popular site to get listed. DMOZ should be seeking out those sites in order to maintain its rapidly fading relevence. Most of GoodNoodles major competitors are also not listed in this category. That makes it not relevent - and that is too bad.
