We are human. There is a lot to do. Nothing is instant.

Even if someone has already fixed it, it will not appear on the public pages for several days.

It works better for all concerned if such reports all kept together in the Report Hijacks, Dead Links & Inappropriate ODP Content Here ONLY thread, stickied at the top of this forum.

It is possible that no abuse is involved. (I haven't looked at the sites nor do I have permission to edit in that area.) We appreciate you alerting us to a possible problem. Someone will investigate the issue.

I left this for a Shopping section expert. I see no problem with the site.

It looks to me that diamondsea.com is a service company specializing in creating websites for diamond e-commerce sites and hosting those sites.

Jewelrydays.com does reside on their servers and looks to be a customer of diamondsea.com..

www.jewelrydays.com is listed at dmoz.org

Rocky,

www.JewelryDays.com is NOT an affiliate site of www.diamondsea.com or any other site. Diamondsea is service provider for JewelryDays. You have not yet answered raggedyrugs question and I want to ask you the same question please reply

Rocky,
If I may ask, what gives you the impression that it is an affiliate site?

Thank you to raggedyrugs, jeanmanco, wrathchild, gboisseau for your comments.

DiamondSea.com

DiamondSea.com is a service provider, not an affiliate program

The above posters are correct that DiamondSea.com is an application service provider (ASP) serving a number of jewelers and web sites, along with a variety of other hosting and online services.

We provide managed diamond inventory databases for multiple wholesalers and retailers, and the database runs on our servers and is integrated into client sites with their own look and feel to provide a seamless ecommerce environment.

Rocky, what gave you the impression that DiamondSea is involved in any form of affiliate program with JewleryDays.com? I will do my best to correct whatever gave you that impression on the site/s in question.

Sincerely,

- Brian Gallagher

cobra730 and diamondsea.com,

Believe it or not we were able to come upon the same conclusion ourselves. :)
Not sure who alerted you to this thread but sometimes it comes out much clearer from the horses mouth. Thanks for the explanation!

Yes, I noticed you did, but the horses mouth likes talking. :)

I have a Google webalert (http://www.google.com/alerts) for DiamondSea, which works well for things like this. It's a great service if you have things you want to track (such as your company name) online.

Thanks again,

- Brian
