Re: Site Status

Rejected: links broken and/or insufficient content. The links seem to be working now, but there still seems to be something wierd and perverse -- lame java cruft? -- going on. I'm not an expert on the affiliate programs in that market, so I can't speak to the content issue.

Re: Site Status

What does lame java cruft mean? I'm no expert, by any means.. If the links are working now, do you think that should be enough to get me in?
thanks

Re: Site Status

Well, I don't see it now. It seemed, though, that something odd was happening the first time I clicked on a link, and there was a gray box in the middle of the screen with technical irrelevancies scrolling through it: the sort of thing I've seen before from broken Java applets.

I haven't been able to tell whether the site is an affiliate doorway or an information page about a genuine business. In that sense, no, there's not enough information for _me_ to list (or reject) it. But we do have people that know the market and industry better than I do, and it may make more sense to them.

Re: Site Status

Thanks for the input.. I just resubmitted. Do you know how long the backlog is for this category? Thanks in advance.

Re: Site Status

Current queue is short.

However, this is not a category that attracts dedicated amateur editors. It's one of many commercial categories that are visited at random intervals by otherwise-very-busy editors. Other nearby categories have long queues.

So: no way to predict, but I'd expect a potentially long delay.

Re: Site Status

Dougb, you've asked for a status update in a new thread. Please keep all questions regarding one site in one thread.

I won't check the status of your site now. If we check each site every week we won't have time to actually review sites any more. Please leave at least one month between submitting and asking for a status.

Re: Site Status

Did you submit to the category in the first post? Your site is not waiting there, but is has not been deleted since you posted you resubmitted either.

Re: Site Status

None of your previous posts have told us where you submitted. We need that information to be able to check the queue.

Re: Site Status

Re: Site Status

Hmmm, you're still one day shy of a (very short) month, you know...

Your site has not been recently deleted.

>>otherwise, it would be in a queque still, correct?<<

Assuming the submission made it through, and assuming that there were no bugs in the system, yes. You can't always assume both of those things, though.

Please wait at least a month before checking again.

Re: Site Status

it was 1 day short of TWO months since I submitted, not 1.
