Hello,
I submitted this website more than 2 months ago and I made an assumption that www.PinoyChannels.com was rejected each time I submit it. I apologize for resubmitting it too much not knowing if it was actually rejected or not. Unfortunately, I resent it again because I was being impatient. Again, I apologize for this and I promise it will not happen anymore. I hope you don't consider me for exclusion. In the meantime, please let me know the status of www.PinoyChannels.com.

We provide service similar to Direct TV dealers in US, the only difference is that our service is focused to the Filipino Community in North America. Is there a better category to submit our website if so, what is it and what do I need to do? Any help will do, thank you!

We do submission checks 30 days after the last submission, so you should bookmark this thread and come back for a status check in 30 days.

However, to answer your other question. It looks to me, like you picked a good Regional category. You might like to submit to a category in http://dmoz.org/Arts/Television/ as well. Many sites will qualify for both a topical listing and a Regional one.

Will I get disqualified if I also submit to http://dmoz.org/Arts/Television/ for my specific website?

I'm sort of pushing my luck here but since you guys have been doing this for a while, I was wondering if I can get some personal opinion. Do you think www.PinoyChannels.com will pass the Yahoo Directory Editor if I pay $300 for it to be reviewed by them? Any opinion will do. Thank you!

No. Submitting to a topical category like Arts/Television/... will not affect your Regional submission review. If appropriate, the site can be listed in both.

sole isn't trying to get you disqualified, really. If an editor suggests an additional submittal, we aren't going to call it "spam".

As to the other, we can't really give Yahoo advice.

If it hasn't been listed within 6 months, you may come back here for another status check. We're not promising to list it within 6 months. We may. We may not. We can't predict how long it will take for someone to get to your site and review it. However, we decided that 6 months was a good interval between status checks.

This allows submitters the opportunity to assure themselves that their submission was rejected or accidentally deleted, and yet still give us time to do some actual editing.

My website has been removed

Hello, I would like to know if anyone can tell me the status of www.PinoyChannels.com? It was listed for a few months but got removed from the directory. I was wondering If there is a way I can find out what happened to www.pinoychannels.com? Thanks.

Website Disappearance

I apologize for not submitting the category where I submitted www.pinoychannels.com. The category was posted on my July 1st response but I guess it would have helped to post the category again to make it easier.

I can't speak for the Business listing, but the site has been moved to http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/News_and_Media/Television and is awaiting review there. (The site is about a TV service provided to the US, and therefore belongs in the US, not the Philippines).
