www.portugal.com vanished

Good afternoon. My site was listed in DMOZ for years. All of a sudden it disappeared entirely. Wondering why as I did not deviate from my initial goal of presenting a travel and ecommerce site for Portuguese Expatriats in North America. I'v submitted it a couple times in the past year but still nothing. Thank you.

That URL has not been listed for a long time. [so I don't think it's all of a sudden]

It will not be listed in ODP because http://www.portugalonline.com/ is listed in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Portugal/Travel_and_Tourism/

But the problem is that the second site URL does not work any more. Let's see if another editor can fix this for you ASAP.

http://www.portugalonline.com/ works fine for me.

The second site www.portugalonline.com is ours as well, but we no longer use it. I did not know that one could not have two sites with similar names in the same directory way back when we were maintaining a travel and an information portal. They served different purposes. After we consolidated the two sites, we had portugalonline.com just routed to portugal.com.

Is it possible to just have www.portugal.com in the directory and nuke www.portugalonline, please.

http://www.portugalonline.com/ may have some on and off problem. It failed consistently earlier today, it worked ok for me two minutes ago, and it's now down again.

However - since it does work some of the time, the best thing you should do is put in a 301 redirect [ask your ISP or webmaster if you don't know how] = or take the site down - so that a reviewing editor will know the site URL has changed.

As of now, neither of your sites is listed. At some point an editor will look at the site again, and decide what to do. In general we will not change a URL if it works.

We had server problems today as we're upgrading our facilites. You are right, it was down for about 3 hours all together today.

So, just to be clear:
- We have taken down portugalonline.com
- Now, I should just wait until an editor looks at it. Any idea how long that will take, worst case?
- Would it help to submit the www.portugal.com again?
