www.procleangear.com no longer listed

Hello,
Can you help? www.procleangear.com site was added late last year or earlier this year to dmoz directory. It seems to have disappeared? Can you explain why and how we can get back in the directory.

I'm sorry, I can remember what web designer set up under but it was under sports/hockey ?. This is a new service in the Greater Toronto area - we wash and sanitize sports gear. If you know any hockey players - you'll know how bad the equipment smells after a few games.

Your insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not finding any evidence in our records that the site was ever listed. Has that always been the url, or has it changed at some point?

We've had no changes to the url. Found this message (below)from web master so it would have been after November 25th date. It looks like he put in a general category since you only have repair services under hockey equipment. Open Directory category: Business/Consumer_Goods_and_Services

Would this help you figure out why its not there anymore? Can we get back on?

If it's not in the queue now for whatever reason then you can go ahead and resubmit it to that category, assuming it's the single most appropriate category for your site.

Please reread the above. The site was not listed. What you provide is submission information. Since every submission has to be reviewed by an ODP editor, a submission is not automatically a listing. We don't have any doubt the site was submitted. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

From your post I assume, you took a job about a site you were told is already listed in the ODP, what is wrong.

I just tried to check if the submission still waits in the given category, but the system refused to load the page. Anyway, a real big lot of sites are waiting for review there, so it will take quite a while.

Thank you for replies. I'm sorry I didn't discover this forum earlier. I realize what I sent was only an acknowledgement that our request was received and remember it took a long time for site to actually appear. Thought this info might help you answer what happened. Since I didn't do set up, I don't have more info readily available but will check with web master for see if I can details from our web master.

To re-state what has been said above, your site has never been listed at the ODP. Are you sure you aren't talking about Google or some other search/directory site?
