Pruett's Fish Camp and Cabins

Was submitted a couple of weeks ago along with Mailbox Office Supply to the same Regional Directory. Mailbox Office Supply was accepted, listed, picked up by Google and is now crawled. Pruett's Fish Camp and Cabins was not so fortunate. I seem to recall getting an error to the effect that the domain could not be located when I posted the submission.

Was the listing actually submitted, or did it face a different demise?

Please let me know if I need to resubmit.

Thank You

Which category did you submit to? Please include it in the format http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/ - this way an editor can tell "at a glance" if they are able to give you a status update *PLUS* this forum will automagically make it a "clickable" URL which editors can click on.

It is also helpful to provide site submission status requests in the format "was submitted a couple of weeks ago along with http://www.mailboxofficesupply.com/ " as then we can select the URL and do a "page search" on the URL easily (instead of having to do a 'Copy shortut/link destination').

Oh - we don't care if Google has or hasn't spidered a site (ditto whether or not Yahoo has or hasn't included your site - the ODP is not Google or Yahoo and if your site is listed or not listed on those makes no difference to whether we list your site or not)

Nevermind Richard, Robert was proficient enough to find the listing without giving me unsolicited dictation, nor extraneous information. Ever hear of the term reciprocity?

Beebware's 'unsolicited dictation', as you call it, makes it easier and faster for us to handle site submission status requests. This has nothing to do with 'proficiency' of an editor. Very often it's not possible to give the submission status of a site (waiting in a queue or not) without knowing which category it was submitted to.

Next time you have a status request please format it as described here. Thanks for keeping in mind that you want something from us and not the other way round, so formatting requests the way we would like to have it is certainly not asking too much.
