www.the-character-animator.com

Greetings. www.the-character-animator.com was submitted a while back under the category "Arts: Animation: Resources" but I soon noticed that "Arts: Animation: Training" would be much more appropriate for the site. My question is, as there is presently no editor for the subject, will it be reviewed by someone from a related venue or will it simply hang in limbo until an editor appears?

I could act as an editor for a short time myself but my time is quite limited. Is anyone out there aware of the status of the submission and how long it might take to have it reviewed?

Informed answers will be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance.

The site is waiting in Arts/Animation/Training/ along with about 20 sites. After a cursory glance at your site, it looks like that's a pretty good fit (though I'm not an expert there, and didn't look very long) It will eventually be reviewed by either a future editor in Arts/Animation/Training , an editor in Arts/Animation, an editor in Arts/ , or an editor with 'editall' or higher privileges. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.

If you are interested in becoming an editor, even just to clear through the currently waiting sites and perhaps add a few others, and you believe you can be fair in reviewing sites, then apply as an editor; there's no minimum time committment - I originally joined only planing to edit in my hometown, and got hooked..

Hope this helps

Thanks samiam. I now feel much better informed. Unfortuantely, after reconsidering the amount of time which would need to be invested in order to do justice to the submitters and dmoz, I will not be applying as an editor at this time.

Again, I appreciate your kind response.

Best regards,
