is where I should be, but I am not found anywhere in DMOZ.
Can you crawl my site or view it at least to splain why not?

Your site is waiting in the queue with other 100+ ones. Be patient /images/icons/smile.gif It's a very crowded category (as well as most Shopping cats).

So from your point of view it is a clean submittal? No automated link backs, content is relevant, and no overuse of keywords?

No, none of those things can be assumed. We'd have to review the site to be able to answer questions like that. The question is whether it's been reviewed. It hasn't.

Continued from the locked thread...
In reply to:

So whoever gets there first is the one who survives in this world.

Using a phrase that is repeated exactly on over 100 sites is often an indication of affiliate sites, which we do not include; from looking at editor notes, it appears that the editor who deleted your site thought it was an affiliate site. If your site is not an affiliate site, you can argue your position here, and then resubmit with the URL for this thread in the site description (if an editor doesn't do it for you). If it is an affiliate site, then whomever you are an affiliate of will get listed, while you will not.
In reply to:

Whatever happened to democracy...

Democracy applies to many countries in the world, and to private organizations that decide to run themselves that way. The ODP is not a government organization, and has not decided to run itself in a democratic manner. We do try to make it as useful as possible to end users, but we do so in an un-democratic manner.
In reply to:

... relevancy ...

If your site is an affiliate site, it isn't considered to be relevant to the ODP.

In reply to:

...the fact that there are multiple engines with many of the same sites, repetitive sites in them which no one seems to mind.

We are a directory, not a search engine. Search engines are supposed to index as many sites as they can, regardless of the fact that they might be repetitive. There might be others directories out there that include all of those sites, but they run their directories their way, and we run our directory our way; if all directories were run the same way, what would be the point of having more than one?
In reply to:

How many points of view are we allowed to have in this world?

Lots. There's nothing ODP is doing that prevents you from maintaining your site, or from being listed in other directories.

I am not an afilliate site. I buy my own products, ship them, offer people a chance to post their recipes, and give away a free gift with purchase that I pay for. Thank you for your info.

Hi. I just visited your site and noticed Maxam products were scattered throughout. I am familiar with the Maxam name. Their headquarters (or at least a showroom) were located near my former place of work in Dallas, Tx.

The way they worked was that a distributor would purchase a license (or distributorship, however you wish to phrase it.) from them, buy catalogs, then go out and sell product. The distributor would then either hand deliver the product, or have it shipped. True...the distributor (technically) bought their own products, but they were a distributor nonetheless.

As for being an afilliate site. Unless you offer unique content, and offer products supplied by Maxam as only a part of your business, you are afilliated with Maxam.

Maxam offers a wide range of products by several manufacturers, and I tend to agree with the other editors that your site is an afiliate site.
