I am Waqas Nasir, CTO of Xebtech Systems. Xebtech Systems is pioneer software house in Karachi Pakistan working since 1998.

I have submitted the site to relevant directory of Software Development and Search Engine Optimization , but in both cases, its rejected or i dont know how much time it takes.

It has been months and months. Why the process is so slow and why the sites are rejected always ???

Please any experts like to give me details over it ?

Regards
Waqas Nasir

Hello,

We no longer check on the status of URLs at this forum.

Due to the volunteer nature of the project, there is no specific time frame for site suggestions to be reviewed. If you have already suggested your site, you have done everything you need to do. It is best to forget about DMOZ now and look for other methods of promoting your website.

The process isn't slow. It's fast and efficient ... and doing something else.

Which is fine.

You don't know whether the site has been rejected EVER (let alone ALWAYS). We don't give that information out, partly because (as we eventually figured out) there was nothing useful an honest submitter could do with that information.

And the same goes for other details we know (and probably a few details that you think we know, but we don't): there's not much we could have told you, and none of that useful.

Always rejected???
How do you know? Or does that mean that you suggested your site more than once? If so, you're spamming the directory. Please suggest your site only ONCE to the most suitable category.

Maybe it would be better to turn the question around.

What are you proposing to do?

If your plan has nothing to do with the ODP, then we aren't involved -- go ahead and do it, or don't: we don't have a right to care.

If your action has something to do with the ODP, then we can show you how to determine whether to do it or not.

You asked how long it might take. It might take years. If you have submitted it once you have done all that you can do. Unless your site does not meet the quality guidlines, in which case you should work on improving your website.
