your french editors

can you please talk to your french editors to give some attention to people submissions ! im submitting since january 2006 with no succes ! and just dont tell me im not respecting the rules ! all its ok with my site and my submission ! just they (your french editors) are keeping their business safe !
im so mad and i will hope from someone from you to check what they are doing !
(also i hope my post wouldnt be deleted !)

What you fail to understand is that no one is empowered to tell any other volunteer what they should be doing, nor can any editor be told, cajoled, or coerced into looking at given suggestions.

The fact that you have been suggesting your site since 2006 is not a sign that the editors are not taking their volunteer commitments seriously. Depending upon the number of suggestions you have made, it may be a sign that you have abused the directory

The ODP is not a listing service for webmasters of any language.

Also, it is important to recognize that no site is guaranteed a listing.

No one is going to take any action on your request.

volounteers you said ! they are here to make money adding only their websites and websites of their familly and freinds ! why not to do some cleaning huh ? or at least to check what they are doing !

No editors are paid. Editors who only include or favor sites they are affiliated with are abusers and when found abusers are dealt with swiftly and their actions are corrected. It is quite insulting to be blanketed with a statement that all (French or otherwise) editors are here to make money. Its not true and and its not appreciated by those same volunteers who come here and try to help with legitimate problems.

I trust our French editors, you should apologize for insulting them without any proof of abuse. Not getting your own site listed is not proof.

That is insulting and untrue to blanket all the volunteers as only self interested. It is also not a very good way to try and convince volunteers to do what you want them to do.

cmic said above that it would be looked into, if you have anything useful to contribute then its best to file an abuse report.

I don't believe that the volunteers that you think so little of will be motivated by your words - which makes the entire thread pretty pointless so I'm closing it. Do not start a similar one.
