MsDetta Posted September 27, 2002 Posted September 27, 2002 Has anyone noticed that the graphic on the index page of the forum is broken? In my humble opnion, that's kind of tacky....
Guest Posted September 27, 2002 Posted September 27, 2002 I don't see any broken graphics.
apeuro Posted September 27, 2002 Posted September 27, 2002 Try going here furiosity. Right above the links.
Guest Posted September 27, 2002 Posted September 27, 2002 Thanks, apeuro. Haven't been there in a while.
dollsntoys Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 Hi MsDetta, it looks like the graphic picture or logo on your profile is not working as well. Hope this helps.
MsDetta Posted October 1, 2002 Author Posted October 1, 2002 I noticed that too and removed it. It doesn't seem to want to use the graphic from my Geocities website, and would only show up (to me) after I had visited my website. Have a great day!
totalxsive Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 That's because Geocities blocks 'remote linking' of images - basically the images will only display on a page if that page is hosted on Geocities. As this site is not hosted on Geocities, the image is blocked.
MsDetta Posted October 2, 2002 Author Posted October 2, 2002 I thought that was the reason. Thanks for the confirmation
Guest Posted October 2, 2002 Posted October 2, 2002 Yep. When I moved the site to a different server I somehow lost that image. I don't remember who make it and sent it to me when we first opened up so I couldn't ask for a replacement. If whoever made the logo should see this could you please send me a replacement?
MsDetta Posted October 3, 2002 Author Posted October 3, 2002 I like it. Glad to see it's fixed.
