Re: status http://www.heavenlytreasures.com/ [201]

I guess that means that I was denied? Gee, I wish I could at least get an email of some sort.

Should I try again somewhere else in NJ or will that be frowned upon?

Re: status http://www.heavenlytreasures.com/ [201]

Hello,

Just checking on my listing at

http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/New_Jersey/Localities/A/Allenhurst/Business_and_Economy/ as I have not seen my listing & I think I was the only one waiting.

On another note, I have submitted my application to another category & will wait for a response on it.

Thanks in advance. I'm sure everyone is very busy & I appreciate your time.

Thanks Daniel, I didn't even realize. In my defense, I was searching for "Heavenly Treasures" from the DMOZ home page instead of actually going to the category. I still dont show up as a search result from DMOZ but I now assume it probably updates once a month or something like that. Again, thanks for all your help & I will keep my fingers crossed for becoming an editor as I'd really like to help.

Re: status http://www.heavenlytreasures.com/

Search is usually updated at least weekly, but due to technical troubles with the RDF dump (which is used by downstream users such as Google, and as the basis for the Search function at http://dmoz.org/) it has not been updated for well over a month. Fixing it is a high priority, but since the RDF takes nearly a week to generate, a failure after several days means some frantic fixing and the regeneration process restarted from the beginning. This is frustrating for staff, editors, and users alike, but rest assured that it is being looked at.
