Alucard Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 You must have a very different calendar from me if March 31st is in April.
assafn Posted March 31, 2004 Author Posted March 31, 2004 My calendar says 1/4/2004 00:14. :-) You must have a very different calendar from me if March 31st is in April.

assafn Posted April 14, 2004 Author Posted April 14, 2004 Dear Forum, Can anyone pls provide me with a status as to my site submit? I still cannot find it on the directory. Your help is immensly appreciated. Thanx, Assaf
spectregunner Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 It has not been touched by an editor. Wait times for review by an editor range from a few hours to more than two years. Since this submission is within the Business part of the directory, I recommend that you come back and check again in no less than 60 days. See you sometime after June 15.
assafn Posted November 15, 2004 Author Posted November 15, 2004 Site submit Hi Forum, I posted our site back in February but I still cannot find it after searching the directory. Anyone can help here? Thanx, Assaf
assafn Posted November 15, 2004 Author Posted November 15, 2004 What does that mean? Any expectation regarding the date when it will be added?
Meta hutcheson Posted November 15, 2004 Meta Posted November 15, 2004 It means you shouldn't submit again. An -- there are, in my experience, lots of expectations. But if you restrict the list to rational and reasonable ones, no. Think of it as a lottery, where 5000-7000 tickets get drawn every day (but, alas, half of them get disallowed because of residency requirements.) Your ticket stays in until it's drawn -- but we really don't stir the tickets at all well, and 5000-7000 new tickets are entered every day also. We think of it like a pipeline -- so many barrels of oil in one end, so many gallons of refined combustibles out the other. The larger the flow, the better. You're looking at one molecule, and wondering if it might be caught in an eddy in one of the valves. We don't know, and don't mind not knowing.
assafn Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 Any updates Can anyone check my posting and process it? It has been a really long time and I dont understand why it is still not there? Thank you in advance, Assaf
Meta hutcheson Posted May 10, 2005 Meta Posted May 10, 2005 Last submitted in February, and waiting for review. You're welcome to read the descriptions about how the ODP works, and what its purpose is. But ... the date a site was last submitted (which is all we have) is simply not something that matters at all. Long time? Short time? Forever? Won't even be submitted till next month? All the same to us.
Meta pvgool Posted May 10, 2005 Meta Posted May 10, 2005 It means you are asking the wrong questions. You can only ask for the status of your suggestion. The way you formatted your questions it seems you are asking us to list your site. Postings made at R-Z will never influence the speed of the review proces. More about that speed can be read in the FAQ. I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.
spectregunner Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 It simply means that, because of the way we work, it is impossible to give any sort of estimate. Currently, site wait from as little as a few days to more than three years before an editor can look at them.
