About 4 months ago an editor told me it was still in the queue, wait a couple of months.

 

Now it is about 11 months since I first submitted.

 

Please let me know the status of this submission.

Still waiting, I'm afraid. The category is rather backlogged so you'll have to be patient.

If you feel you can be unbiased in reviewing your's and others' sites, you might consider applying to edit one of the Humor categories. Assistance and information on applying can be found in our Becoming an Editor forum.

I tried becoming an editor of that category but was told that there were no positions available in that category. Seems odd. I would be willing to help out and I would be unbiased as I could. <img src="/images/icons/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

I may apply to become an editor for another category at a later date, because I'm interested.

Did you apply to the Recreation/Humor/Jokes category? Because that category is far too large for a new editor. A category with less than a 100 sites is a good guide when you reapply. Several of the subcategories in there fall into that range and would probably be perfect for a new editor.

The site was listed in the category on 13th November 2002. Sorry for the delay, but that particular category is awash with new submissions.

 

New editors for Humor are always welcome, but as theseeker suggests you should look for a smallish category with no listed editor to begin with - there are quite a few of these to choose from <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />
