fredmarka Posted March 22, 2004 Posted March 22, 2004 Hello, I used a lot of free submission tools over the web. Probably a lot of them submit to dmoz, so I guess that my websites are now in the black list of your database .?? Could you confirm ? Thank you, Fred
Meta hutcheson Posted March 23, 2004 Meta Posted March 23, 2004 I used a lot of free submission tools over the web. Probably a lot of them submit to dmoz, so I guess that my websites are now in the black list of your database. We're really not going to discuss how we might protect editors from auto-submit-tool harassment or other forms of spam. But if you have been doing something like that, it would be prudent (and ethical, and polite) to stop. But if you have a submittal in a category, we'll tell you its status. Check out the "submission status forum" rules first.
bobrat Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 So much so, that you might note which words in this web page are in RED http://www.dmoz.org/add.html

You know, I was still novice two months ago for website/referencing and wanted to do referencement with no fees, so I used the first things I saw on the web, I didn't realized that it was like spam...
