Guest Posted October 17, 2002 Posted October 17, 2002 Ok, I've submitted our site to Top/Science/Technology/Directories today. What I'm posting about it, I think I submitted this site to another category a while ago, and would like to make sure that the old application is cancelled, as this new category is more appropriate. I'm afraid I cannot remember which category I posted it to previously, but I have searched and it isn't online on DMOZ yet. As a suggestion, would it be possible for an email to be sent out summarising the details that are posted when you submit a site, for your own reference? Thanks! :-)
uzs980 Posted October 17, 2002 Posted October 17, 2002 In fact your site was submitted to Science/Technology/Energy/Fossil Fuel/Oil and Gas, but an editor moved it from that category to Business/Energy and Environment/Oil and Gas/Industry Resources. I think this was a good idea, because your site addresses to the industry (Business) and not to scientists (Science). The category also is more specific than the one you've chose this time, Science/Technology/Directories. There are less than 20 sites waiting for review in Business/Energy and Environment/Oil and Gas/Industry Resources. However I don't when an editor will come to work through the queue. But I think it would be better to wait for him to come than to ask for a deletion ...
