It's not in the (small) pile awaiting review there and it hasn't been processed in any way by an editor. At a brief glance, the site appears to be eligible for listing there, so go ahead and resubmit.

Ummmmm (polite mode on) remember that you have to wait a minium of 30 days between status checks, and according to the calendars we use, you need to come back after May 1. (polite mode off)

Due to the voluntary nature of the directory and its editors it is impossible to even give a rough indiction I am afraid. Someone may be on their way now - then again no one may have the urge to edit that category for many months to come.

 

Sorry I cannot really help beyond that but there really is no way of knowing.

The forum rules have changed; we now ask submitters to wait at least six months between each status request.

 

The number of sites waiting for review in a category doesn't have any bearing on the time until review for any one site. I know it sounds illogical, but it is nonetheless true - we used to give rough numbers of the size of the submissions pool, but stopped doing that last year since it is a meaningless number.

 

There also is no "position on the list" - the sites waiting are not standing in queue, and a site submitted last week could be reviewed before a site submitted last year.

I must admit I'm none the wiser on how long to expect the process to take, but then nor is anyone else, I guess. Presumably, I will be told when the site has been reviewed and the outcome?

No, it's not our policy to notify submitters when their sites are listed or rejected. If you don't find it listed in the directory within 6 months, you may come back and ask whether your site has been reviewed or not.

Back again to check on the status of http://www.charterhouse-aquatics.co.uk. It was submitted on 31st March 04 to the category below, and other than confirmation that it's awaiting review, I've heard nothing:-

Is there anything I can do to progress this application, like resubmitting it, as it looks like it's on a pile gathering dust? Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Hello,

 

The forum rules have changed, we ask that people wait six months between status checks. You recieved your last update on May 4th:

If you bump this thread sometime after November 4th someone will be happy to give you another update.

 

I would recommend that you do not resubmit, you've been advised that your suggestion is safely waiting review in the category you mentioned, so now it's best to sit back and relax.
