stujo Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 Request for status: training-classes.com I've submitted a few times in various categories and never heard anything back, I do have two affiliate relationships but the rest of my content is not affiliate related. I would have kept a note of the category I had submitted to each time if I had know it was important to do so. I'm pretty sure I tried http://dmoz.org/Business/Education_and_Training/ I guess I feel like I've built a decent site and worked hard to collect good content I'd like to find out what's wrong with my site or my submissions Comparable sites such as tregistry are listed when I started submitting to the directory I didn't have much content though. Any feedback appreciated Stuart
djdeeds Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 It is not waiting there. You must have suggested it to a subcategory. There is no "suggest a URL" link at that level. <added> I was able to load all the subcats. The site is waiting review in http://dmoz.org/Business/Education_and_Training/Business_Development/ </added>
stujo Posted April 10, 2004 Author Posted April 10, 2004 Thanks DJ It's great to know I've not been lost. http://dmoz.org/Business/Education_and_Training/Business_Development/ http://www.training-classes.com/ I don't suppose there's any kind of information on how many others are waiting or ETA, but thanks for your investigations Stu
stujo Posted February 15, 2005 Author Posted February 15, 2005 site status: training-classes.com checking in Hello There I've been working hard finding training providers to include in my directory over the last fewyears, I feel like I'm doing a good job and I've created a useful resource. I'm trying to understand which category would be the right one for my site http://www.training-classes.com/ Is http://dmoz.org/Business/Education_and_Training/Business_Development/ appropriate? If not where should I ask to be included? Thanks Stuart Jones http://www.training-classes.com/site_owner.php
Meta hutcheson Posted February 15, 2005 Meta Posted February 15, 2005 You may suggest the site to the most appropriate category you can find. Editors will move it to a better category (if they can find one). There's no need to ask for this service specially -- we provide it to all sites submitted (as well as, obviously, all unsubmitted sites we list.)
stujo Posted February 24, 2005 Author Posted February 24, 2005 Thanks - is there any news on the status? Thanks - is there any news on the status on the http://www.training-classes.com/ consideration?
spectregunner Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Why would there be any news? A full month has not passed since you sought our advice on where to submit. Come back to this thread no sooner than 30 days after the date of submission and we will take alook.
