Hello , ALL:

We use DMOZ's RDF files and download it to MySQL. Now we try to use PHPHoo, or perlHoo to pull in the Open Directory Project and integrate it into our directory. Could you help me to share your experience using PHPhoo or perlHoo, even other solutions?

Note that recent RDF files have all had a couple of duff or badly encoded characters in the dump each time (and before that a lot more errors in previous months) which may need cleaning before the files can be used.

 

However, as of this week, the RDF is totally error free. The project to convert the whole of the RDF data to UTF-8 encoding is now completed. Future dumps should also be error free too.
