Category Links Back To DMOZ

I'm importing the DMOZ category table into my own database, and I'm munging the names. So I have the original IDs but not the original category names. Is there a DMOZ link I can use to pass a category ID instead of the name, for the attribution?

 

I could add a lookup table, but that's like another hundred megabytes in my DB, considering I'd have to index it.

No, sorry to say. Since the ODP-own structure is not based on a "real" database but on a flat file system, there isn't. The category names basically are the search path for the ODP software.
