himadventures Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 Sir, We are already listed under: directory.google.com/.../Asia/India/Travel_and_Tourism/ Travel_Services/Tour_Operators/Adventure_Travel/ but we also seek inclusion under Main directory of Tour Operators in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/India/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Services/Tour_Operators/ Do we qualify to submit for second directory? Second Question: Our page rank is same since more than 5 months ( it was PR5 in Oct. 2003 ) I do feel ( Honestly ) that our page rank should be better as we are having more than 1,00,000 hits /month now. Thirtd Question: We changed our Title and Description and also send a information to DMOZ but we had not been changed yet. What I am supposed to do? ( Three months back-we changed and informed DMOZ)

You didn't say which site is yours, so it is impossible to advise you on whether your site might be more appropriately placed in the next higher category. It will not, however, be listed in both Tour Operators/Adventure_Travel and in Tour_Operators. 2. We don't care about Page Rank. Even if we did, we cannot do anything about it. Please take it up with Google, if you wish to pursue the issue. 3. See above. You didn't say which site is yours, so we have no way of knowing whether an update request has been received. We list sites, not pages, and we categorize, not rank, them. You want page rank, go somewhere else. (There are forums that discuss page rank, but signal-to-noise ratio is always an issue. We're not experts in that area.) (3) It is not unreasonable to ask for a second listing in Regional -- we won't call you a spammer if you do. But we don't promise to give it.

Be certain to follow the forum guidelines, which means provide a clickable link to the ODP category (not the google category) where your site is currently listed.
