Guest Posted November 1, 2002 Posted November 1, 2002 Hello, I'm submiting the site http://www.profplanet.com since May 2002 (3 times) to the following category: http://dmoz.org/Business/Employment/Job_Search/ It's always says at the bottom "This category needs an editor". Can someone inform me of the current status of this submission? Many thanks for your time! Tim
dfy Posted November 1, 2002 Posted November 1, 2002 It's there in the queue, along with nearly 500 other sites. As I'm sure you can imagine, this category is a major spam magnet and it will take a dedicated editor to go through and weed out all the rubbish before you can be listed. I'm afraid you're going to have to wait a while before it gets reviewed.
Guest tonebase Posted November 3, 2002 Posted November 3, 2002 Seeing as I have had 60 jobs in my 10 years of full time employment and now I finally work from home, I think I would be good at weeding out the spam, I cant spot a good job a mile off! Yes, I am (and was born to be) unemployable. Saying that, I may walk out after only checking out 2 of those 500 listings. Why did I have so many jobs? I worked in the tourist industry!
Guest Posted November 5, 2002 Posted November 5, 2002 So, how long it could take? Just approximately Regards, Tim
motsa Posted November 5, 2002 Posted November 5, 2002 If you're responding to the previous post, tonebase isn't an editor (and even if they became one now, wouldn't be accepted for such a large, spam-prone area right off the bat). As for the question in general (of how long it takes to get through 500 spam-filled submissions), it depends on too many things to say.
