Tpath Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 The site http://www.formingsystemsinc.com was submitted (I believe) under the category: http://www.dmoz.com/Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Machinery_and_Tools/ For about a month, the site enjoyed high placement on your site and the search engines your site supplies. Then, without warning, the site disappeared from your index roughly 1 month ago and currently is no where to be found. The site is legitimate, not seeded with fradulent keywords or other abuses, and yet it has disappeared. Could you please assist me in finding out why and what needs to be done to reinstate the site? Thank you.
Alucard Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 I have looked at our records, and I see absoloutely no record of this URL being listed in the ODP at any time. Is it possible you were using a different URL?
spectregunner Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 the site enjoyed high placement on your site We don't rank or rate sites, so there is really no such thing as high placement. Are you sure that you're not confusing us with soneone else?
Tpath Posted May 18, 2004 Author Posted May 18, 2004 I submitted http://www.formingsystemsinc.com to the following area of DMOZ roughly a month ago and am curious as to its status: http://www.dmoz.com/Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Machinery_and_Tools/ Thanks
Meta kokopeli Posted May 18, 2004 Meta Posted May 18, 2004 I merged the two thread you started for this same subject, please do not start new threads. Your suggestion is still pending review, the category is backlogged. I would suggest bookmarking this thread and coming back in three months if you still do not see the site listed.
Tpath Posted August 2, 2004 Author Posted August 2, 2004 Status of http://www.formingsystemsinc.com It has been about 3 months now since my last inquiry and, as requested, I am checking back in. http://www.formingsystemsinc.com still doesnt appear to have been looked at. Any suggestions? Thanks.
spectregunner Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 The forum rules changed while you were away, and status checks are now spaced six months apart. However, since you were specifically told to come back in three months, I am grandfathering this request. No change in status, you are welcome to come back to this thread (please bookmark it) on or after February 2 for an additional status check. You are always wlecome, in the interim, to browse the category to see if your site has been listed.
