My site has recently been added to the open directory, but I am unable to find it using search form. Did I miss something? Do I need to fill out a keyword form or something of the like? the site is sitescapesonline.com and can now be found in the directory under Business/Construction_and_Maintenance/Materials_and_Supplies/Site_Construction/Site_Furnishings/

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

also unrelated or not my site showed up on google searchs for 30 minutes. does anyone know why it would disappear?

The search engine is only updated once a week, though due to technical difficulties the last update was at the end of September; the date is given at the bottom of the search pages. Presumably your site was added after that, hence the reason why you can't find it.

I was in the directory before Sept., I find myself in the directory listing but I never come up when I type in any key words. ???

You are in the search index, see http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=u%3Acitationelimination.com . Maybe you are using the wrong keywords.

I know I come up there but if I type in "Traffic schools" or "Florida traffic schools" in the main Google search box I get nothing. Not even on page 20, and the sites coming up at that point don't have much to do with traffic schools. ???

That would be a question to ask in a Google forum.

This forum is for dmoz.org issues - if you are not showing up in Google that is a totally different thing. Though Google uses dmoz data for their directory we have no control over what results show up in Google. You can ask Google questions in Google's public forum
