Can I submit to DMOZ now?

I noticed several days ago that my website doesn't show up when I search on DMOZ although it shows up in the category still. I was told that there is a problem with the database at the moment and should be fixed soon. My question is, would it be ok to submit a site at the moment with this problem as I have a new one to add or should I wait till the problem is fixed?

The problem is only with the search function, that I know of, which is at best a small add-on to the core of the directory.

 

Please go ahead and make whatever submissions are appropriate.
