Status of www.giftbasketsbyheather.com

Hi Team,

 

My client and I have been trying to submit the site http://www.giftbasketsbyheather.com/ for a few months. However, we've been unable to get a response on whether it has been rejected or accepted.

 

The categories we have tried are:

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Gifts/Gift_Baskets/G/

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Gifts/Gift_Baskets/Corporate/

 

Our site is a Miva-driven site, and the homepage redirects to http://www.giftbasketsbyheather.com/miva/merchant.mv. In case we were rejected because of the redirect, we've also tried submitting the full URL above.

 

Our next option would be to create a duplicate of the merchant.mv page and make it the homepage (eliminating the redirect), however this would also eliminate some features of Miva.

 

I've seen other Miva extensions listed in other categories (by just searching for merchant.mv on DMOZ), so maybe this won't be necessary?

 

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

PS. We are willing to be an editor for the http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Gifts/Gift_Baskets/G/ category, but we were rejected, and we're not sure why...

 

In any case, if the job is still open, we're still willing to be an editor...

I can see your site sitting in the queue for Shopping/Gifts/Gift_Baskets/G/ An editor has already corrected the URL by stripping off the "miva/merchant.mv" and leaving the base URL.

There is no other submission anywhere under Shopping/Gifts/Gift_Baskets. Not that it matters, you would only be listed in one category anyway.
