Hello-

I submitted my site http://www.desertmedicalessentials.com I think about two months ago. I have noticed that someone from DMOZ has looked at the site, in my log I have six views from manager.dmoz.

I submitted my site in the health section. http://dmoz.org/Health/ When I submitted it I didn't take note of the specific category. My web site sells medical supplies and equipment.

Is there a way to tell if I have been rejected or not? I would apperciate any help at all. Thank you in advance!

If you ca'n't give us a specific category, it's impossible to give you a status update.

If you wish, you may resubmit your site (once) to the most appropriate category. Make a note of where you have submitted it, and then in a month you may return here and ask for a status update.

Hmm... you couldn't have submitted it there: that category is not accepting submissions. Did you perhaps submit it to a subcategory? There's really too much there for us to search through all the subcategories.

I ca'n't find the site there, nor is there any record of it having been reviewed. Please feel free to resubmit the site (once) to the category you feel is most appropriate.

www.desertmedicalessentials.com

Hello-

A month ago I had submitted my site www.desertmedicalessentials.com - Desert Medical Essentials. I know this process can take a while, I just wanted to know if it was received and if there is any kind of update on the submission status.

I submitted the web site to: http://dmoz.org/Business/Healthcare/Products_and_Services/Medical_Equipment/

Thank you in advance! I really appreciate any information. :)

The site is waiting for review in that category.

Some people read site logs looking for ODP editors. I suppose it's no more harmful than tossing apple peels. But the only thing you're going to learn that way is that you really aren't doing anything constructive to your time -- which your mother could have told you even without a computer.

Hutcheson-

Why do you comment on something I said six months ago! I don't remember asking you about your thoughts on me looking at my site logs, nor do I care your thoughts on my site logs. I recently asked if I was on the right track and if my site has been submitted to the most specific category.

I guess I could give you a little advice to. I suppose you and some of the other editors could spend a little more time actually adding sites to ODP instead of posting smart ass comments like the one above. Not in any of my post have I said anything rude, why do you insist on treating people the way you do?

I also suppose I should also correct you in your above statement. I don't specifically look at site logs for ODP editors, I analyze where my traffic is coming from and what search strings people are using to find my site. This is valuable information to any webmaster. When looking through I did see a log about it so oh course I was wondering If someone did review my site why wasn't it approved.
