verycurious Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 I have submitted to just one category: Top: Business: Real Estate: Residential: Rentals The site I submitted has sublet listings nationwide both in the US and in Canada. My question is can we submit to more than one regions that our website covers. I wanted to submit our website (http://www.tosublet.com) to the DMOZ regional categories in which our website is more prominent. For example: For California: Top: Regional: North America: United States: California: Business and Economy: Real Estate: Rentals For New York: Top: Regional: North America: United States: New York: Business and Economy: Real Estate: Rentals For areas in Canada: Top: Regional: North America: Canada: British Columbia: Business and Economy: Real Estate The last thing I would want to do is spam, so I just wanted to verify with you before I submit to additional categories. Thanks for your time.
Meta pvgool Posted May 22, 2004 Meta Posted May 22, 2004 No, normaly you are only allowed 1 listing in Regional. You will be listed in the city your office is located. I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.
Meta hutcheson Posted May 22, 2004 Meta Posted May 22, 2004 pvgool is being polite. But you should take his answer as absolutely firm.
verycurious Posted May 23, 2004 Author Posted May 23, 2004 pvgool, hutcheson, Thank you both for your prompt responses. I had read some other forum posts here that made me a little confused about multiple submissions to several categories. Now its clear that its not allowed, atleast in my case. Thank you
