chenqun Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 Hello All, I really need your help. Our website, http://www.china-tourism.org was a Yangtze River cruise reservation website, we submited it to http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Travel/Specialty_Travel/Cruises/Travel_Agents/Asia/ and it was accepted and listed in some time last Sept. With the development, our website have extended its service from Yangtze cruise reservation to cruise and package tours. We have package tours feacturing Yangtze River cruise here http://www.china-tourism.org/package/index.htm . I read the guildance very carefully, and compared several sites, then I though it would be ok for me to try to submit the page above to http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/China/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Services/Tour_Operators/ Maybe I was too nervous, I made a great mistake, I shall submit http://www.china-tourism.org/package to the desired directory, instead of the home page, http://www.china-tourism.org Suddenly after I pressed the "submit" buttom, I saw this mistake. But the page turned to "...submission received..." at this very moment. I'm very worried. I don't have the least attention to offend ODP guidances. The guidance says"Submit to only ONE category" Can anyone tell me what shall I do now? Is there some person who I can contact to ask them correct this wrongly submitted URL? Any help would be highly appreciated!!
donwiebe Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 Don't worry about it. You don't have to do anything. When an editor decides to review your submission, he or she will fix the URL from http://www.china-tourism.org/package to http://www.china-tourism.org as part of the review process.
spectregunner Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 We do not label anyone a spammer for two submissions, or even two times two submissions. At this point, if I were you, I'd do nothing. It will sort itself out.
chenqun Posted May 25, 2004 Author Posted May 25, 2004 Thank You Dear Editors, Thank you for your explanation. Best regards, Chenqun
