Hello,

in April we submitted a update of this URL:

http://www.unmuessig-timber.com/

in this category:

http://dmoz.org/Business/Agriculture_and_Forestry/Forestry_Products_and_Equipment/Import_and_Export/

We like to have a change of the description.

At the moment this you can find:

Exporter of European hardwoods, sawn timber and logs. Located in Freiburg, Germany.

It´s a little bit senseless to have "Exporter of...", because it´s allready in the category "Import and Export". And also our main products are not included.

It would be more helpful for our ranking to have this description:

Offers european hardwoods, beech and oak as sawn timber, lumber also as logs.

Can you please check the status of our demand?

Thanks in advance from Germany

I don't know much about European flora, but in North America, beech and oak are usually considered hardwoods. Is it different in Europe?

European beech as used in furniture is different from North Ameican beech, it has more grain and character, but I would still classify it as a hardwood.

The description is listed as "tweaked" in early May; it looks like some of what you wanted didn't get in. I can see why the editor preferred the existing description, which is clearer English and really not much less informative, so far as I can see.

I appreciate your point about "exporter" -- but some of the companies in that category export only; others import only; some do both. So it is less redundant than it seems at first glance.

that was a quick answer :-)

You´re right, here it´s the same.

Our client is offering hardwoods in generell. But, he´s also specialized in beech and oak.

To have the keywords hardwoods, beech, oak, european, timber and lumber would match the product line best.

Can you help?

Thanks in advance!
