Will it ever get reviewed even though there is no editor for the category Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Industrial_Supply/Power_Transmission/Brakes/, or is it sitting in a dormant queue awaiting an editor to come along? I understand that other editors have the ability to edit many categories. Is this what happens when a category needs an editor? I first submitted my site nearly two years ago when there was an editor and only two sites listed. Is two years not out of the ordinary for sites to be reviewed in some cases such as this?

Some areas of the directory are more behind than others. We have noticed that the Business area in general needs extra help, and teams of editors have pitched in to work in certain areas to try and turn this around.

 

The Brakes category hasn't been updated since February, but the Transmission page was updated earlier this month, so this section isn't being totally neglected, but yes some of the submissions in the queue are quite old. It's one of the areas that are begging for attention.
