Guest Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 Hi, I submitted my website www.click2it.com.au/asp/home.asp a month or so ago to http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Full_Service/ and it hasn't been listed and I'm wondering if there is any obvious reason why. I actually resubmitted it yesterday also and thought that I had followed the guidelines properly etc. Thanks
ambivalence Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 It looks to still be in the unreviewed queue. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> How long it takes to get listed depends on the category, and the available editors in that area. Someone will get around to reviewing it, sooner or later. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />
donaldb Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 You might want to consider also submitting to the Sydney Web Design and Development category. It is allowed to be listed in a topical and a Regional category if the site has a regional presence. Because of the recent reorganization in the Designer categories, we're still wading through the backlog of sites that need to be reviewed. It's a slow process so it may be a while before you see your site in Full_Service/C
motsa Posted November 28, 2002 Posted November 28, 2002 Actually, donaldb, the Regional category he should submit to is North Sydney's Internet category, not the Sydney CBD one (since they are located in North Sydney, not the central business district).
donaldb Posted November 28, 2002 Posted November 28, 2002 You are absolutely correct. I was quickly poking around the Sydney categories when I posted that message and totally missed the North Sydney category. This is why I normally stay out of Australian categories. Once I'm beyond the Canadian provinces I'm lost <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />
