Until very recently, update requests just swam in the pool of unreviewed sites, and it was hit or miss when/if an editor noticed them. Some wonderful new programming has made it easier to editors to spot updates, whech will likely lead to faster processing of those requests. Still, that is a very busy part of the directory, with lots of work to do, so that may work against you.
