A question about Page Rank

I am not sure this is the right forum so forgive me if it is not.

 

I had a site that was recieving a 4 / 10 on page rank. Now I check and the page rank is 0 / 10. All the links from other sites are sitill there and they have 3's and 4's out of ten.

 

Does anyone know what might cause this abrubt change. I read one post that said you are black balled (if there is such a thing) if the rank is grey. The site rank is still white just 0 / 10.

 

It is still listed in DMOZ so I am not complaining just curious

You could be banned. There is hidden keyword text on your home page ( a google no-no). If you 're going to play with a black hat on, those are the consequences you may have to deal with. (IMHO) I suggest you find a good SEO forum and ask there.

 

Edit: You aren't banned. Do a google search for the first 10 words (max allowed) in your meta title "Tucson landscape design and Tucson landscaping design pictures." in quotes. You get 4 results, one of them is your site. If your site was banned you would not be listed at all.

I've seen many PR changes in recent week, there may be yet another change in what used to be dance patterns. Google currently has 4 pages indexed from your site, the first 3 of which generate 404 errors:

Hopefully you don't have too many broken links in there now.

I would not trust the tool bar nor would I worry about what your page rank is. You should build your site for visitors not the search engines, have good content, advertise, and get good links to the site.
