Guest seindal Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 I applied to become an editor with the login 'seindal' in the category Science: Social Sciences: Archaeology: Periods and Cultures: Roman: Sites and Monuments: Italy but there are almost no editors in the entire region of the directory. The closest category with an editor is four levels higher, in Science: Social Sciences: Archaeology Will this affect my chances of becoming and editor? I applied three weeks ago, so maybe I am just too impatient. Sorry to disturb if that is the case. I have received a receipt on the application (not the email-check message). René.
donaldb Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 There are actually quite a few Meta editors who spend time in the Science branch. These are the people who approve the applications, so it doesn't really matter that there are no editors close to that category. Your application is still in the queue, and I'm sure one of those Metas who specialize in that area will review it soon enough. It's just a matter of being patient
Guest seindal Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 Thanks a lot for clarifying that. I'll be patient René.
