I'm perplexed. I have a brand of biker apparel - MOFORIDER Streetwear.

My URL has been submitted, yet not listed.

Now if I use the search term "motorcycle t-shirt" in DMOZ, I note that some of my business competitors are listed. I can see no real difference in our businesses or websites - it makes me wonder if the editor has an unfair bias  .

Feedback please!

Why would you automatically assume that because your site is not listed, an editor is showing bias. Maybe your site was never submtited, maybe your site is listed somewhere else, maybe your site is totally unacceptable to ODP, maybe there are 3000 other sites also waiting to be reviewed, maybe your site was not working when it was reviewed. The possibilities are endless.

Why not ask about your site as the guidelines request, and get a specific answer

[readme]Please read the guidelines[/readme]

Why not read the forum FAQ and get a better understanding of both ODP and this forum. http://resource-zone.com/forum/faq.php?

Somewhat defensive bobrat. How about none of the above. Yes the site was submitted properly. No it is not listed in the directory. Yes the site was available. I track these things. Certainly after six months, I should anticipate that it would have made the review.

If you want simple questions, I'll ask, "why has my site not yet been added to dmoz?"

Thanks for the category link! A site suggestion for that site, submitted on 26/May/2004 14:29:25 CEST, is waiting for review there. Please don't resubmit again; if you haven't seen it listed by Dec 25 you are welcome back for another status report (please use this thread if you do so.)

Have a look at our FAQ, specifically http://resource-zone.com/forum/faq.php?faq=odp#faq_how_long - that addresses the question of why we can't ever give an estimated time until review for any one site.

I might also point out that in many cases resubmitting wipes out the previous submssions. That means that even though you submitted six months ago, there would be no record of it, and editors who process the pile of sites in date order will constantly find your site moving back to the bottom of the list. In which case, your constant resubmission only serves to delay your review.

In effect, you did not submit six months ago, but barely a month ago.

That is why the submission page http://www.dmoz.org/add.html

says Please only submit a URL to the Open Directory once.
