Hello 'members lounge' world.

I use several different browsers as a matter-of-course, and while lurking round here I realised that none of the pages worked with Mozilla 1.6. I did a search and couldn't find any posts on this, so I thought I'd bring it to this groups attention.

A quick check of my browser settings reveals nothing obvious.

My apologies if this is posted in the wrong place, there seemed no more appropriate forum.

Regards

1.6 works fine for me.

I first picked up on this when clicking a link within an email. Mozilla was set as the default browser. A browser window opened, but no content was displayed. I checked the page source and found html, head and body tags, but no content within them.

So, I tried the front page, i.e. http://resource-zone.com - the page rendered correctly, but when when I clicked on "Enter the Forum", the browser makes the request (logo spins) but returns nothing (it stays on the front page). The same is true for the "Register" link. However, other links on the front page work correctly.

I switched off my firewall to make sure it wasn't that. I have javascript enabled and pop up windows allowed.

(Firebird 0.7 and IE6 on the same machine work fine.)

Since this is basically a standard vBulletin forum with a few modifications for style you might want to go directly to the source and see if it's an issue that affects all vBulletin forums. There might be more info on their site or you could report the bug to them for future fixes - http://www.vbulletin.com/

It's definitely not a general Mozilla 1.6 problem as that's all I use for daily browsing and it has always worked fine.
