Changing Category to more relevance after initial submission

I would like to change my initial submission to be included within a much more relevant category (listed below):

http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/California/Counties/San_Diego/...

How will this affect my submission? Will one editor notify the other editor I've submitted to a new category?

Those submissions won't interefere with each other -- but a quick scan of your site doesn't find any information indicating your location, so the San Diego editor may reject it.
