oolala Posted August 10, 2004 Posted August 10, 2004 I have a question!!! If one company's offices are located in two or three different countries or locations then that company site could be listed in those TWO regionals categories? Thanks
Editall/Catmv arubin Posted August 10, 2004 Editall/Catmv Posted August 10, 2004 I would say "yes", but no more than two. Others would say "no", and certain types of businesses can only be listed once.
Meta hutcheson Posted August 10, 2004 Meta Posted August 10, 2004 The gut reaction would be to list the site in Regional, but under the continent, not the countries, but mentioning both countries in the description. But better judgment might result in some other place. From the submitter's point of view, it's very simple. Don't worry about it. Just submit to the ONE most appropriate Regional category, and let the editors exercise their experienced and informed judgment.
oolala Posted August 11, 2004 Author Posted August 11, 2004 Thanks for your valuable response. As far as regional category concern assume a company office located in London(UK), Paris(FRANCE) and Florida(US), then all three regional categories are eligible for that site? In other words should submitter's submit a site in all three regional categories?
Meta hutcheson Posted August 11, 2004 Meta Posted August 11, 2004 No, there is no dispensation allowing any submitter to submit to two regional categories. There is a good chance the site would not receive ANY regional listing; also a fair chance for ONE regional listing in the MAIN office. Repeat: the submittal policy says submit a site to ONE category. We give blanket permission to extend that to ONE Regional and ONE topical category. We're flat NOT going to give blanket permission to extend that to TWO regional categories, let alone three.
oolala Posted August 11, 2004 Author Posted August 11, 2004 Thanks hutcheson very much cristal clear for all of us
