I originally submitted the site and got a message back that there was no record of the submission (7/29/04). I resubmitted and realized the category was expanded and I needed to add a country (8/21/04). I then came back to check if the site had been added to the project and found that the category was gone or had been changed. I resubmitted again 10/25/04 in this category: http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/Communications/Writing_and_Editing/Technical/General_Practice/North_America/United_States/

 

I would really appreciate it if I could find out the status of the submission.

 

I realize you get thousands of submissions and keeping up with them must be quite a job. If the whole process is a futile undertaking for me, please let me know that too and I won't take up any more of your time or mine.

You could also try submitting to the Regional branch - http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Nevada/Localities/ - find your locality, and if it is sub-categorised, the correct sub-category.
