Since March 2004 we try to get a company listing in the open directory, however this seems not to work out, eventhough we tried to follow the instructions given. Second submission try was beginning of July. Today I would like to understand, which is the reason that this did not work out for us so far.

1) Category filed:

http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/E-mail/Encryption/

We chose this category, because our product is available as well as a web-based service, as well as a software license.

2) Our site is:

https://www.privasphere.com

Do you support SSL encryption for sites listed in the directory?

Is there another rejection reason, I am not aware of. We appreciate a hint

Best regards,

Paul Frey

You also submitted to World/Deutsch/Computer/Internet/E-Mail/Anbieter, but [for that category] the site was rejected as being under development and not in German.

You could consider resubmitting there when that part is complete.

Noting that Über PrivaSphere is still partially in English - including PrivaSphere Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen which is still all in English.

Prioritywise, I prefer to see the English listing added to the directory in category:

http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Inter...ail/Encryption/

English is also the first language of the sight.

The world entry might have been unconsciously added via another local search engine. To have Terms of Use available all in German might still take some time.

Thank you for the hint and hope that helps things go forward

Regards, Paul

It's still waiting for review. You have done all you can do when you suggested it for inclusion; there is no way you can speed up the time until review. The FAQ linked at the top of this page can tell you more about how it works. :moz:
