musicman2059 Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Technically, a broken link in a directory isn't neccisarily abuse. Broken links happen; a site goes down, a site closes, a site moves, etc... Eventually, the site will get noted to the editor as a 404 and will be fixed. Do you know the name of the site? If you do, it would make it a lot easier to see whether or not the site has moved.
ishtar Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 The site was not listed in the category you mention. Instead it was listed in http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Travel/Travelogues/Europe/Russia . It was caught by our automatic link checker and removed from the directory early this year. It is still showing on the public side. It will take awhile before it is deleted from there unfortunately. Thanks.
