jimnoble Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 I'd love to help but without a clickable link to your chosen category as requested in ATTENTION - Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING, I can't. Also, be sure that it's at least a month since your most recent submision before asking here.
hindsjohn Posted September 6, 2004 Author Posted September 6, 2004 submission update Thanks for the help Jim could you please check the status for http://www.lojixit.co.uk I think I submitted to the category below: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Consultants/ If not too late I would also like to submit to the categort below: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/South_Yorkshire/Barnsley/Business_and_Economy/Computers_and_Internet/ Thanks again John.
donwiebe Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 You're too early for a status check. Bump this thread in a month. If not too late I would also like to submit to the category below: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Uni...s_and_Internet/It's not. Please do.
hindsjohn Posted October 13, 2004 Author Posted October 13, 2004 Site Submission Check Any update on the submission of my site please? Meta andysands Posted November 30, 2004 Meta Posted November 30, 2004 Please could you clarify which of these is your main site: http://www.lojixit.co.uk http://www.lojix.co.uk I sorted the lojixit site from Barnsley to Mapplewell, but then found the other url already waiting. Cheers, Andy
hindsjohn Posted December 1, 2004 Author Posted December 1, 2004 lojix Hi Andy Thanks for the reply http://www.lojix.co.uk is my main site. Thanks again John.
Meta andysands Posted December 2, 2004 Meta Posted December 2, 2004 Hi again, http://www.lojix.co.uk is now awaiting review in: Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/South_Yorkshire/Mapplewell AND Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Computers_and_Internet/Sales_and_Services The Computers/Software/Consultants submission was moved to the latter location since the Lojix site does not appear to offer services/sales to non-UK residents. Kind Regards, Andy
jimnoble Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Just to clarify and save you from asking in the future, http://www.lojixit.co.uk won't be listed. That you've spread your website over multiple domains doesn't make it eligible for multiple listings.
hindsjohn Posted December 3, 2004 Author Posted December 3, 2004 thanks Andy/Jim Thanks both of you. John.
hindsjohn Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 update please It's now been 4 months since I was gratefully put in the correct category but still no listing. Can someone please give me an update. Thanks John.
bobrat Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 In order for these forums to function to function efficiently it is important that users read and follow the guidelines ATTENTION - Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING and it also advised you take the time to read the forum FAQ - which answers many common questions It appears from your post that you did not follow at least one of the requirements. If you already asked, and got an answer less than six months ago, then please come back to the original thread and ask once six months have past.
hindsjohn Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 rude!! Not wanting to be rude but dmoz is a joke. I will probably get put to the back of the queue if not removed but what the hell. You might as well be told what I and other people think. If I had submitted my site 6 months ago and been pestering you then yes I could accept this reply however I can't even remember how long ago it was! If you can't get enough volunteers to review the sites you need to get real and look at going commercial. i would certainly prefer to pay £20 to be listed rather than having to wait this long. Sorry but only constructive crisitism!
