Guest Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 Hi there Just wanted to check the status of my application for: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/London/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Antiques/ I applied on 13 October, but haven't heard anything back yet. Thanks Andy
apeuro Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 If you applied that far back you were certainly rejected. Feel free to reapply.
Guest Posted January 12, 2003 Posted January 12, 2003 Any idea what I did wrong? I thought I had written good descriptions, and paid close attention to the guidelines. Andy
Meta windharp Posted January 12, 2003 Meta Posted January 12, 2003 Juist as a side note - recapitulate the registering process: 1) You fill the form 2) You get an E-Mail asking you to confirm your mail-address (You have to reply) 3) You get an "Your application has been received" message. Its long ago - but please try to remember (or look it up) if you received both mails. Otherwise your application was not stored and of course could not be accepted Curlie Meta/kMeta Editor windharp
donaldb Posted January 12, 2003 Posted January 12, 2003 We don't archive rejected applications so it's impossible to tell you what may have been the problem. I would suggest taking a look at the first thread in this forum called FAQ and General Advice, read all of the referenced documents, and try again if you're still interested.
dollsntoys Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 Hello fruitloops101, Please do not submit a new application for editor. Instead, use the Reinstate Request Form as well as your original ID of fruitloops101 as you have used in this forum. Someone will then consider your request for reinstatement. Editors who have been accepted previously should only use this means of re-gaining editorship rather than applying for a new editor ID, as more than one ID is not acceptable. Here is the url: http://dmoz.org/reinstate.html Note that you *may* experience some problems using the url while ODP is experiencing technical difficulties. If at first you don't succeed try again a few minutes later, or the following day. I hope this helps. Good luck.
