tdwaters Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Can I please get the status of site: http://work-from-home-business-net I submitted it back on August 11th to http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Opportunities/HomeBasedBusiness Thank you and have a nice evening!
spectregunner Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 I bet that whoever has sufficient permission to check your submittal will have a much better time if they use this url.
motsa Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Hate to be anal about this but you need to give the correct link to both your site and the category, neither of which you did. spectre's already corrected your URL link for you but it'll go a lot better if you correct the category you've given above as well - Business/Opportunities/HomeBasedBusiness doesn't exist.
motsa Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Actually, scratch that. The site won't be listed. I'd point you to our guidelines page that explains common reasons why we won't list some sites but, unfortunately, we're having some trouble with that document right now and it's unavailable.
tdwaters Posted September 12, 2004 Author Posted September 12, 2004 sorry I typed the title incorrect/don't understand why I apologize for typing my website name incorrect. Had a sick little one last name and I was trying to hurry. But I don't understand why you won't list my site: http://work-from-home-business.net Can someone please tell me why? Thank you very much
tdwaters Posted September 13, 2004 Author Posted September 13, 2004 Please tell me why? Please tell me why my site: http://work-from-home-business.net will not be listed. I do not understand. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
donwiebe Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 The document motsa was wanting to point you to is our Site Selection Critera. We don't go into specific reasons for not listing a given site in this forum (FAQ - Why won't you get into a discussion about why you won't list my site?) but in the vast majority of cases it the reason falls under the heading of "Insufficient Unique Content."
