Guest Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 Is a directory only a collection of websites? I ask this question because I submit one site (http://www.agriseek.com) to Business: E-Commerce: Marketplaces: Agriculture My site has a directory structure with categories and subcategories but instead of sites are products. Was rejected for this reason? Now I submit same site to Business: Agriculture and Forestry: Directories I make again an error? Please help me
donaldb Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 Your site ( http://www.agriseek.com ) was not rejected. Why did you think that? It is still waiting in the unreviewed queue in http://dmoz.org/Business/E-Commerce/Marketplaces/Agriculture/
Guest Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 Thank you for your answer, I think that because I submit the site to Business: E-Commerce: Marketplaces: Agriculture in september 2002 and after 9 dec. update was not listed. I am sorry I didn't know that will take more than one update cycle. I hope that the second submission will not be considered as spam. Thank you again.
beebware Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 >> I didn't know that will take more than one update cycle << Eh? The ODP doesn't have "update cycles"...
Guest Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 Thanks, I will wait until the site will be reviewed.
Editall/Catmv lissa Posted January 20, 2003 Editall/Catmv Posted January 20, 2003 >>and after 9 dec. update was not listed. I am sorry I didn't know that will take more than one update cycle. << If you are referring the the "last updated" date at the bottom of the page, this simply means that something on the page saw an edit, and is no indication of what got reviewed or how much got reviewed. Many times it is simply an editor fixing an error that was flagged. Sorry, but we can't say when the category unrevieweds will actually be looked at.
