adamc Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 I submitted http://www.juicenewmedia.net to "Computers: Internet: Web Design and Development: Promotion: Search Engine Optimization Firms : J" in November. A week or so ago I noticed the following url in my log file: http://dmoz.org/editors/editcat-unrev.cgi?cat=Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Promotion/Search_Engine_Optimization_Firms/J/ which indicates to me that the editor has had a look at my site. Yet it is still not in the index - as far as I can tell, having looked in all relevant topics. I can see no reason why this site should not be indexed, and have tried contacting the relevant editor, but have had no response. I'd really like to know what is going on with this submission, and would apppreciate it if someone could shed some light on this for me. Thanks, in advance.
dfy Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 It probably means that an editor came along to have a look at your site, but decided it was too complex / they were tired / a TV program started / their pet cat wanted attention/ etc. Your site is still in the queue waiting for someone to take a proper look at it.
adamc Posted March 5, 2003 Author Posted March 5, 2003 Still waiting to find out whats happening. No listing as far as I can tell.
dfy Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 I'm afraid it's still there, in a very small queue waiting for someone with sufficient time to come along and edit that cateogry.
