Guest Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 I submitted my site a few weeks ago; as far as I know it has not yet been reviewed. I have two questions: 1) In the site description I included a word, "intriguing," that I now realise could be viewed as promotional. Is an editor likely to rewrite the description? Or could the submission be rejected on those grounds? 2) The page I submitted is not actually the home page of my site. Will this be a problem? (The home page links to the submitted page, which in turn links to most of the site content.) Thanks, Nick
motsa Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 If the site is otherwise listable, the reviewing editor will just adjust the URL, title, and/or description as necessary to meet the guidelines.
totalxsive Posted January 17, 2003 Posted January 17, 2003 1) The editor will probably rewrite the description. We don't reject sites solely because they have poor descriptions, but by writing ones that comply with the guidelines you save us a lot of time. 2) Without knowing the site in question it would be difficult to say, but I don't imagine it would be a problem.
